Professional Achievement Award
The WVCA Professional Achievement Award is presented at the WVCA conference each spring. The award recognizes a WVCA member for his/her outstanding professional achievements and contributions in engaging volunteers in our community. WVCA will present the award recipient with a personal gift and a $100.00 donation to the charity of their choice. Your submission of this nomination is acknowledging the work and efforts of a valuable volunteer engagement professional.
*NOMINATION DEADLINE IS MARCH 12th of the award year*
Mandatory Criteria includes:

Attendance at the May 11-12, 2023 Conference Thursday’s lunch.

Paid volunteer engagement professional who has been a volunteer professional for at least five years

Outstanding volunteer professional: This may include achievements in recruitment, screening, training, retention, recognition, fundraising, or initiating new programs. Indicate the professional’s years of experience and the number of volunteers the professional has managed.

Leader among peers: This may include a member/officer of a professional organization.

Involved in their community: This may include service as well as job duties.

Current WVCA member as of February 28th of the current year. You can email wvcamembership@gmail.com to confirm the nominee is a registered member.

Resource to other managers: This may include consulting, seminar speaking, or membership of a community coalition/organization.
